This piece was awarded 2nd prize in the Mixed Media Category at the Artists Society of Canberra 2023 Spring Exhibition. You may read her artist statement below:
I layered in words upon the mountains the perceived good and bad things about La Niña and by proxy, my own obstacles. Standing back and looking at my mess of a life, I could only see beauty in this constructed landscape built on hardship.
